  • Maternal and Neonatal Nursing is a comprehensive course designed to provide Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) students with essential knowledge and skills in caring for mothers and newborns during the perinatal period. 
  • This course emphasizes the unique healthcare needs of pregnant women, newborns, and their families, focusing on promoting optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes through evidence-based practice and compassionate care.

  • The course utilizes a combination of didactic lectures, hands-on skills labs, clinical simulations, case studies, group discussions, and clinical practicum experiences in maternal-child healthcare settings.
